to edit a iso with linux you can do the following. lets say you have the file mydvd.iso in the folder /home/foo/ 1. cd home/foo/ 2. create a temp folder mkdir tmp 3. mount the iso into this tmp folder sudo mount -o loop mydvd.iso tmp 4. copy the hole mounted folder to a second folder like tmp2 cp tmp tmp2 -R 5. change the permission to full write sudo chmod 777 tmp2 -R 6. now you can edit the contents of tmp2. 7 create again a new iso file with mkisofs sudo mkisofs -iso-level 4 -o mynewdvd.iso tmp2 8. burn the iso with cdrecord cdrecord mynewdvd.iso Referenz: http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/coffee-lounge/55654-iso-editing.html 07.12.13
