How to use Jquery Ajax with Ramaze and xml response07.12.13

javascript caller Side:

add to your javascript file. it will create a event for the select form element:
when it get selected it fired a ajax function what than call the server.
on success it will get the server xml string response and give it to the parseXml function.
this function will look for the tagname name and give it text node out.

2.
ramaze server size

in your ramaze controller disable the layout for action and 
add the xml header.
ramaze will send back the xml string

deny_layout :product_get
  def product_get(id)
    response.header['Content-Type'] = 'application/xml'
    "<name>hello</name>"
  end
