### create new branch ``` git branch -m shopnew ```` ### see the actual branch ``` git branch --show-current ``` ### add and commit and push into new branch ``` git add . git commit "new branch changes" git push ``` ### move back to the main branch ``` git checkout main ``` ``` git checkout shopnew # your work git checkout main # pristine git branch # shows both, `*` marks the current one ```
