Since some weeks i got the following error message when i try to update gem : ERROR: While executing gem ... (Gem::RemoteSourceException) HTTP Response 403 After some time of reseach i found out that the goverment new policy is trying to control and log the internet access of their people and they doing it still quite poorly what cause some problems.so the only solution was to use a proxy to update and install with gem. 1. Look for a good proxy list: example sites: http://www.proxy4free.com/page1.html german site: http://www.proxy-listen.de/Proxy/Proxyliste.html 2. in a user account set a environment variables for HTTP_PROXY. Command: HTTP_PROXY='http://217.172.56.174:23'
